Due to each note being individually scanned, its difficult to tell how much smaller these notes are than the typical piece of Notgeld. Each of these notes is roughly 1.5" x 2" (38mm x 55mm), or about double the size of a standard U.S. postage stamp. This is about 1/3 the size of the smallest standard Notgeld pieces.
