Welcome to the catalog of German Series Notgeld (Serienscheine). These notes are referred to as Series Notgeld because they were produced in small sets specifically to be sold to collectors, in contrast to earlier Notgeld which were made out of necessity and intended for circulation. These Series Notgeld have been very popular with collectors ever since they first appeared in the early 1920's.
This German Notgeld Catalog is a work-in-progress. I'll be adding new notes and information, according to the issuing location, from A → Z alphabetically. I will continue to update regularly, and leave notes here any time an update is made.
